LeKo Expedition originated from Leegwater Expeditie and Kok Transport. The owners Dolf Leegwater and John Kok met at the SPAR Distribution-centre where both of them worked. From this cooperation LeKo Expedition was founded in 2006.
LeKo transports everything with extra care and attention. We treat every transport like it is our own property. Above all, we are flexible. Changes in orders are possible until almost the very last moment.
At LeKo we employ 40 people. Our drivers have experience with fitting and installing. They are equipped with packing materials, toolboxes and ladders. With every transport they carefully pack the goods and they have experience with (dis)connecting or disassembling furniture, kitchen appliances etc.
Our company has grown considerably over the past years. For transport we now own 8 big trucks and moving trucks and a small delivery van. We also have 8 vans for the GLS network. If we do not have the possibility to transport goods ourselves, we know the right colleague who can.
Additionally, we are a certified STL education firm and teach people to become professional drivers. Young people learn practical skills with our company. We emphasize the importance of educating a new generation of drivers. We also have two people with a disability working for our company.
In Alkmaar we also have 3500 m2 of warehouse space at our disposition. Here you can safely store your goods. Our warehouse is equipped with the latest in fencing and camera surveillance. Our possibilities and expertise for transport are not restricted by any boundaries, we can arrange transport of any goods worldwide, by road, sea or air.
